MS15: Week 3 Check-In

I'm pretty happy with being down a little over a pound this week, considering what time of the month it is. *wink* It could easily have been another week of reporting in with a gain. In addition to 'timing' I also ate out three times on Friday and twice on Saturday. Yikes! But, I tried to make good choices and limit the portions.

When I meet with my trainer tomorrow (Thursday), she'll be taking new measurements and we'll be starting a new routine -- 3 sets of 30 repititions. This is supposed to help burn fat and build long lean muscles. I think I'm both looking forward to the change and bemoaning it. The higher reps means lighter weights; which in turn means I'll be able to do all of these without modification or having a spotter on my own. So, that's good. The potential down side is doing 90 of something can be boring and/or seem long. Counting to 10, 8 and 6 just goes so much faster - even if you are doing 4-5 sets versus only 3. I'm going in with a positive attitude though. I like the idea of burning more fat so the muscle I have becomes more defined and visible. If you're going to work hard and have it, you might as well be able to see it!

This week:
-1.2 pounds
-1.8 for this milestone
-99.8 total

I met my exercise goal; 345 minutes on 5 days.

Until later . . .

Think Smart. Eat Well. Move More.
