Today was supposed to be a lifting day. But, I lifted my petuttie off on Tuesday night. The only muscle group that wasn't painfully sore (but it was still stiff) were my biceps. Everything else hurts. HURTS! Abs? Yup? Thighs? Sure and that doesn't happen often. Back? Yes. Chest? Hell yes. Triceps? You betcha. Shoulders? Even they hurt. In fact, between my chest and back, even breathing is a bit painful if I take a deeeeep breath. Overkill anyone? It didn't seem that overkill-ish when I was doing it. The only thing I can think of is that several of the exercises were either new or new variations. Doing something familiar in a new way must have put it over the top. I plan to lift tomorrow after work (no exercising for me today, a day off!). We'll see how I feel on Saturday.

I exceeded my exercise goal. 330 minutes in 6 occurrences. But, the weekend did me in and is why I am up for the week. Christmas cookies, pizza, spaghetti, stuff like that is soooo hard to resist or even eat in moderation. I hope to get back to the big goose egg by next week. I better get cracking!
