The Biggest Loser

I'm having a good week. Aside from the short period of wickedness over New Year's, I've been very consistent in my eating and in my exercise for the past 12 weeks. So, all other things being equal, I can't explain the great week I'm having. I'm not complaining. I'm over-joyed. I just wish I knew what changed so I can be sure to keep it up. So far this milestone (still week one, until tomorrow), I'm at -5.6 (OMG!) and -43.6 total. On average, I've lost about one pound a day since Friday. Usually, after I post a big number, I have a one or two day period where the big number is partially off-set. For example, I'll be down -3 in one day, then be up 1 the next day, and up .5 again the following day. Then, hopefully, start putting in some decreases again. This time I'm showing a big number for the week (so far) but it's been a series of one pound loss days. I'm 'trained' to expect an up day or two any minute now. I'd rather not see that but it's what I'm conditioned to see. Hopefully it doesn't come and this consistent daily loss rather than one big number is a turning of the tide. But, this -5.6 (so far) week is my second biggest loss in a single week (I had a -6.5 week back in August). It is almost equal to what I've lost during the entire last milestone (6 pounds). Could it be possible for me to lose at least .4 by tomorrow and tie or beat the last milestone in a single week?! That's my goal and motivation to be focused again today.
