5 More In The Bag

Not five more pounds, unfortunately. I was getting dressed for work this AM and my pant choices were limited to a few, all of which were some version of brown. Since I've worn brown pants twice this week already, I thought maybe I should shoot for a different color. In my quest to find black, blue, or even tan pants, I ventured to the very depths of my closet. Also known as 'The Skinny Zone'. The clothes lingering in 'The Skinny Zone' were tried on about 2-3 weeks ago and were too small. So small, I couldn't wear them. One pair I couldn't even button.

I kid you not, I tried on 5 pairs of pants this morning from 'The Skinny Zone'. All 5 were TOO BIG. What the hell? How did that happen? In the last 3 weeks, I've lost less than 2 pounds (like maybe 1.8 or so). I've apparently lost some inches that aren't being reflected in the scale.

Know what's awesome in an expensive way? 'The Skinny Zone' is bereft of company. Not one single pair of pants are left that I can aim for. Every article of clothing I owned that was too small is now fitting or too big. As much as I hate it, both from the cost perspective and the fact of doing it, I need to go shopping.
