Weight wise, I'm so pleased. I'm at -2.5 for this week, -4.5 (of 7) for this milestone, and -36 total. Maybe I can make 10 pounds in this milestone which is what my MS goal had been all along prior to starting to lift weights. Hmmmm? Maybe! I'm happy with all of those numbers. Yeah!!
Technically, I'm 14 pounds behind "inception-to-date" goals. Had I made every weight check-in goal along the way, I'd be at -50. I would like to catch-up at some point, but this is the very reason why I set 6-week goals rather than just an end goal. When looking from the beginning to the very end, there's just too much time (and room) for things to not go exactly as I planned. Had I only set one goal, the end goal, I might be feeling discouraged now. Because of the MS goals, I'm not. In fact, I'm pretty excited. If I miss a MS goal, I can look at it. Figure out what happened (if possible). Correct it (if needed). Let it go and move on. I won't let it dictate or derail my journey.
Another good thing this week? I also have exercise buddies; near and afar. Sometimes just having someone to commiserate with (or have pep talks with) goes a long way towards keeping me focused and motivated. Thank you!
Until later. . .
Think Smart. Eat Well. Move More.
